- Thanks guys. I’m pretty stoked on the whole trip and glad I decided to bring all my camera gear instead of leaving some behind lol.HijoDMaite
- I also picked up a Zeiss 50mm ZF for my F3 from B&H while I was there. Amazing lens matched to my F3! And of course loving the Hassy.HijoDMaite
- Amazing shots! I recently an X100 for street photog. Do you have any tips for a newbie like me?pseud
- Jealous!!! What was your highlight?milfhunter
- Pseud. Just get out there and start shooting, that's the best advice ;)
Also if your camera has a bright red autofocus light on the front...microkorg - Get it covered with a bit of black tape. Makes street photography or shooting from the hip more stealth.microkorg
- These are all film except last two are iPhone. Chase the light around the city, look for interesting characters, get closer. Practice and be passionate.HijoDMaite
- Those are my tips haha. I do not claim to be a pro at this.HijoDMaite
- Great shots ...
really love the night B&W one.Ramanisky2 - Thanks microkorg and Hijo :) I might post some photo attempts at some point.pseud

OK not my latest but I've taken quite a lot of crap gig pics in my time and these few were featured in a Q magazine (R.I.P.) article on readers crap gig pics.
Say no more!
I was quite proud of this one, the mag editor even copied my writing on the back of the photo and superimposed it on the front.
I kept my distance from Suzanne at the festival that year as she was apparently wearing a bullet proof vest onstage due to death threats, you can never be too safe.
No good memories of this night as I been for a big meal before the show and mixed with copious amounts of booze from my merry chums I ended up lying in thye aisle being violently ill.- 2nd and third one seems to feature the back of the same head - cream tshirt mid bottom and more tanned bottom lefthans_glib
- Nice! Pink Floyd image would make a great printfuturefood
- Why did Suzanne Vega have to wear a bulletproof vest????fooler
- death threats (lol) I mean really?!
https://www.theguard…Gardener - someone was so fuckin' BORED to death of her music they considered an alternative world without it, but lucky for us eh it didn't happen, phewGardener

HijoDMaite,
In the morning before going out with the kids and cameras I watched some street photography YouTube vids to get them briefed and also excited about going out and taking photos of people. You know the sort of vids where its a photographer with a GoPro recording their walk around, you see when they take a photo then they flash the final photo onscreen for a few seconds. Then continue.
Kids seemed to really enjoy watching these vids as they are visually interesting being New York. Also watched this vid with them to explain how to use reflections etc in photos.
- how has it been going? are they still engaged? :)HijoDMaite

Got back from a Patagonia trip for a recent project and snagged this. This particular morning I stumbled out of my tent to a huge rainbow directly in front of me across the river. I later stepped back to take in the larger picture and literally gasped. This place was so beyond beautiful, the entire trip was filled with moments like this.
- Wonderful image. I'd love to visit Patagonia.Morning_star
