Some employers are seeking designers that are "fun".
I am thinking...man if they are expecting a designer to come in and provide the "fun" in the environment then maybe they are not really looking for good design but they want someone to be like the party guy, the guy that eats shit all day, pretends to work and tries to get people to laugh or something?

wice already Ive been to places that let me go and I ask, why? And they said...your too quiet... we need someone that will interact with the other designers (that are quiet) and have them have fun and be inspired...

I once had an interviewer ask me to tell him a joke right there on the spot while i was showing him my work. Fucking awkward and out of place. You want me to pretend like we're buddy-buddy when I just met you 30 seconds ago? wtf...
This was a large design company too. They're going down the tubes, laying people off. Guess they hired too many funny, incompetent people.
