As a rule, I refuse to look at someone's online portfolio if it's called something like "namedesigns". It also bugs me when someone who works in their grandmothers' basement calls their design practice/portfolio "Name Studios". There is one studio. And even if you are pair of Swedes working from different corners of Europe, using studio plural in one's company name is pure pants.
So in light of the lame naming choice, It doesn't surprise me that this fella has ripped you off. Start by emailing him in a kind but direct manner and see where that takes you.
