i'm guessing the swf isn't one of yours so, screen capture the animation then copy frame by frame out of a movie file maybe?

Flash CS3 added the ability to export scripted animation to quicktime movies (still haven't done it personally, but its there).
(then you could convert the quicktime to a picture sequence, either via export from quicktime player pro, or a recent version of photoshop, etc. been a long time since I tried exporting a picture sequence directly from flash, but I was never happy with the quality -- color dithering or artifacts, etc.)

mac = iShowU or snapz pro. (or Screen Flow, which is more expensive, or Jing which does swf video output only)

the screen capture might be your best chance, something i've done in the past when screen capturing (to avoid laggin issues) I set both my video capture and swf frame rates at 10fps capture the video and then retime it using after effects or something similar. Works real good for high res swfs

Oh yeah, it's scripted... Export Movie won't work (even with a wrapper SWF)
