those letters on sheets,.. when you scratch them, it gets on the paper you put underneath it..

Those fuckers are a drag to work with. Lining them up is a a real inconvenience.
What possible desperate circumstances can you be in where you would have to use them? On an island with no electricity where you have to put up a sign?

this is what the typical sheet looks like
with logos/ icons or graphics

You can't scale them up,
the sheet contains characters, logos, icons etc kinda like a thin film on the opposite side of the sheet from where you scratch.once you draw on them, that film (with the letter A for example) is no longer on your transfer sheet, and its now on your selected surface.
what you can do, is use different sheets on different sizes.
1 sheet with large characters, and another one with smaller ones.
sometimes 1 sheet can contain different sizes of the same characters

I can't believe some of you youngsters have never heard of this stuff... *leans back in rocker, puffs pipe, scene dissolves to flashback memory of when the most hi-tech thing in the studio was the the copy camera for making acetate mockups of graphics from our 3M tape layouts..
