Hi, I'm starting up a bloggggg :D
I want to add some Audio files every now and then..
what mac software allows you to take like ie. 20seconds from a 1hour setlist..?Thanks

what programs you got?.

i'm sure there is a quicker work around with a single program, but I find it easy to use quicktime pro, set in and out points, crop, and export as audio file... it can't export Mp3, so i just export to AIFF, then import into iTunes and convert there. QT Pro is $20 i think, and iTunes is free.

there's this thing if it's already an mp3 and you just want to truncate:

if you start with an mp3 and decode, trim, then re-encode you'll lose some quality

Audacity is a great app.. i just used it to take care of retiming audio to a time remapped video clip here at work. works like a charm. thx stupidresponse.
