Good fight? That was a joke. Kimbo proved nothing against a nobody. Against anyone in the UFC he would've been toast. He's improved a bit, but in no way is he at a professional mma level...
The girls fighting that night showed more skill than Kimbo.

Good fight? He got taken down by JT about 4 times, the ref stood them up when JT was in a dominant (and improving condition..) DIDN"T stop the fight when Kimbo was turtled up taking 35 elbows, then stops it as soon as he see's Kimbo starting to gas..
That whole event was the worst ref'd MMA card I have ever seen..

I like Kimbo, I'm rooting for the guy and hope Rutten can make a career for the guy, but he's in no way ready for the big mma leagues yet...

My friend fought in the undercard and unfortunately lost not to a KO or Submission but because a cut got too out of control despite pwning the guy in the first round.

"If you’re a fan of MMA, then what Elite XC trotted out as a main event was mostly an absurd exhibition. It’s like tuning in for the NBA Finals and finding the And 1 Mixtape Tour – only with announcers pretending Hot Sauce is a better player than Kobe Bryant.
This was entirely predictable. Any promotion that was going to use Kimbo Slice as its main event clearly cared nothing about the quality or growth of the sport. It was just grabbing cheap viewers. If that meant sending a mostly unskilled street fighting sensation against a guy who was such a tomato can he should have dressed in red, then so be it.
Of course, the tomato can, James “Colossus” Thompson, almost won. At least, until the fight got stopped, Kimbo was declared the winner and MMA message boards almost collapsed in fury.
But if you didn’t know, or care, then you didn’t know or care. This was better than reruns of “Walker, Texas Ranger.”

I want to know why there is such a mass quantity of sand in vagina when it comes to this guy?
Are other fighters jealous of all the attention he gets? I don't get it. He just started doing MMA in 2007 and barely has any training for it compared to all the other fighters. Yet people say, " He would get killed against this guy or that guy..."
Not to mention he has a cool story and is the father of 6 kids who is just trying to make some scratch for.
