Its tough man. I mean if you really let it consume you it can change you weird. You start trying to design things that are out of your control. You want to design a better society. You see the flaws and you want to change em... but you dont know how. And you think you can fix the ineffieciencies in society but there are much more powerful entities at work that know much more than you do. And all you can do is accept the bad design and continue on. Its ahhhhh!!!!

Stress has two things that resolve it. A life outside work, and love. Just balance your life Dskz. :) and dont give a shit about your work haha. at the end of the day when your dead an gone are you going to be remembered by your grandkids for what you did who you were. wazam

i do a lot of projects outside of work that i have complete control over. helps create a balance. that and the drugs.

Yeah, agreed. I think it's helpful to create art outside of work....where you are not controlled, and your creation won't be slaughtered by the time it filters through all the "powers that be"

I know exactly what you're talking about. I've become extremely critical over all things design... cars, houses, every product in my house, etc. Bad design is everywhere... it's frustrating. I wish I didn't care as much as I do.
