i never had any problems with my site or my grid... but i do get a lot of emails from media temple stating when my site will go down...

Got the same problem, clients on the phone wondering why their site and ftp aren't working and I can't even create a support ticket.
Mediatemple really seem to have gone to shit the last few weeks.

I have used ICD hosting with no problem, I'd highly reccomend.

i just convinced my wife (and her company) to switch hosting from Verio to MT. They just moved all their stuff this weekend. And now the servers go down. Needless to say, my wife's boss ain't to happy.
I doubt I'll recommend them ever again.

damn, I just moved a ton of stuff back to them (after leaving when the gs had email problems).
GoDaddy could not resolve a PHP issue with their server (granted, they seemed to try). The script worked on 3 other hosting companies, so my faith vanished (simple contact form, so for more complex stuff I would have 0 faith).
My sites are working, but I only just now checked.

this gridserver thang is destroying their reputation. quite unfortunate for them because otherwise they are generally on top of it. it appears at the moment that one of the clusters is down, so some are happily sailing along whilst others are dead in the water.
