Maybe it's because I'm a girl (heh), but I still haven't gotten used to the Gamecube version where you have to control the driving and the items (or two people can share a cart). I probably haven't played it enough to be awesome at it.

I've got mine set up in the kitchen, was in the living room for over and year but never got used... seems to be used a lot more now... my 5 year old nephew is brilliant at Mario Kart Wiiiii
