A generic, pedestrian and unimaginative way to present your portfolio. As a designer how could use a free website template to showcase your work? It's like going to a business meeting wearing shorts and dirty tee shirt. How is anyone going to take you and your work seriously? BTW - You have some nice work there...

you might think its the same, but its tiny details that makes Dstrukt site way better then visuaal. just look at the text, its crispy and sharp...easy to read.

There is sod all wrong with indexhibit for people who are "designers" and not "WEB designers" its very useful software. people are right about the logo . and the colours. well the grays .. suck . says so much about your work before you even look at it.

I also agree that "indexhibit" is a killer app for non-web designers. However, don't ask for an objective crit of your website on QBN if you don't want real feedback and even some opinions and be down right cruel. And secondly, I think that pyramd took it personal... Look at his response to everyone who said something that he did not like...

The only issue I have with the logo is that I don't see it being practical for integration with an entire branding system. I have expectations that designers or firms have well established branding systems that cross from an online medium to print to other collateral. I would like to see the other elements in his system. I always have a tough time believing that those complex logos with a 3d look to them really function well for pint and etc.

To be honest I can't wait to have my whole system done including my site. I am going to throw it up here and have my portfolio criticized to no extent. It's coming soon I am so excited.

i do trademarks and ID systems mostly, and alot of artwork for print. my website's appearance isnt as important as the content. and i love my logo don't be so crude! look at your own logos, damn.

they have point, i looks awkward and unbalanced...
if you are mostly into trademarks and identity systems,
you are breaking the elemantary first rules with this one..

why don't you just use the "AA" as a standalone mark and pull it out of the name?

Just a quick question then I'll bugger off again. Pyramd, please don't take me up the wrong way as I'm not trying to offend you, but why did you post the link to your site? It seems like you're happy with the way it looks and the the content and the logo and you've disagreed with anyone who has offered a critique, so why the post? Is it just to show us yer stuff or to drive traffic to your site?
It just seems a little strange.
