Baked herb stuffed salmon yo.
Fresh basil, fresh dill, salt, pepper, lemon 2 medium salmon steaks, skin on cut in halves. put olive oil, sea salt and fresh cracked pepper on your workspace. lay the salmon, skin down, season the tops with salt pepper, roughly ripped basil, dill, and zest of half of a lemon on one of the sides.
Flip them on top of each other and tie together with string, so both skin sides are facing outwards top with fresh flat leaf parsley and two lemon slices. bake until medium rare or whatever you like.
serve it with blanched, buttered green beans and an endive / bacon salad. Nice white to start and maybe a nice pinot noir with the meal. You'll be getting laid.

a note on brown rice:
brown rice is amazing if you buy actual brown rice. most brown rice in supermarkets is actually caramel-coloured short white rice and tastes terrible. you need to go to the health food store and buy proper brown rice before you make a call on whether it's nasty or not.

any woman who doesn't like garlic and onions doesn't deserve dinner.

I once had brown rice and it was like how I imagine eating carpet to be.

Brown rice isn't really bad, you just have to season the hell out of it. I have a lot of people from India living in my neighborhood, so the local grocery store has tons of indian spices for super cheap.

i cooked almost the same thing the other night for a girl except for the salmon i used a soya sauce + orange juice maranade and sprinkled basil and sea salt on it
then i cooked green and orange peppers in a frying pan with soya sauce + tabasco sauce and club house vegetable spice....served with some jasmin rice
for salad, i mixed brocoli, mango, cashews and red onions and for the dressing: ranch + horseradish + orange juice
- nice work.mrdobolina
- thanks mate. honestly try that salad out. all the flavor of the dressing gets trapped in the brocoli trees and the mangos provide a nice sweet contrastkinetic
- I wish my boyfriend would cook. dammit!sea_sea

Fry up some chopped onions in olive oil, (or a combination of whatever vegetable you like) and then throw in a cup of white rice, stir often, once the rice is light brown, put in one boiling cup of chicken broth and one cup of water, you can also use some kind of bullion to give it more flavor. add some butter, cover and let it boil on very very low heat, approx 20 minutes, this will give you soft, fluffy, not sticky, yummy rice.
- I Like this!!! Might just have to try it...********
- it's easy and yummy. I make a wicked mexican rice too. :)sea_sea
