I'm am originally a body boarder, but since we get no waves in shithole ocean city maryland, I longboard occasionally and recently i've got into wakeboarding. Conditions are always perfect on the river. Glassy warm and no-one around.

Check out surfline today... There's a nice east coast photo article. The RI spot(s) is where I grew up surfing. I actually miss the cold water sometimes.

i guess the actual home break would be Falmouth Reef (but that only breaks 2wice a year!
so the beaches of choice are Penhale or Godrevy (ie the ones i actually surf - therefore 'home' breaks)

i thought i was a surfer from my time living in Cocoa Beach FL.... then i moved to SF and tried to surf the frigid waters of Ocean Beach. I know now i am only a "lover of warm waters with small waves"
being a Surfer is nothing i can claim anymore. I could not get used to wearing a thick full body wet suit.- they arent that bad..
my 5/4/3 - feels like im wearin a 3/2 - technology eh?NewElpaso - the combo of the COLD water and biggest waves i had ever been around it feel way to constricting..********

Long Beach or Chesterman in Tofino. Vancouver Island, BC.

year-round New Jersey surfer. Too far north from any breaks to call my own, but frequent LBI, Wildwood and Cape May. Pray For Surf.
Mostly longboard due to lack of decent swells, but take the fish out when I can.
