If you think it tastes like swill, you've probably never had swill. If you think it tastes like Budweiser, you've got the wrong beer.
Far from premium, but a solid choice for the everyday drinker. Open invitation for a pint of it at my house, any time.

I love yuengling!

Yeah and when you step into a philly bar, you order a "lager" and they know what to bring you. Their porter ain't too shabby either.

I miss Yuengling too -- but let's be honest: Beyond nostalgic value, is there any worth to shipping it across the country?

I'll be in Saint Clair for Easter, which is where most of the actual Yuengling in the north is brewed. The original brewery in Pottsville is used for tours, and to churn out enough barrels that they can keep the name, "America's Oldest Brewery."
They opened up a brewery in Tampa as well a few years back.
Premium is my favourite Yuengling by far. I don't really like Lager to be honest, but I don't hate it. I do hate how in Pittsburgh when I order a "Yuengling Lager", they look at me like I have two heads. Then they go, "You mean just a Yuengling?"
To which I have to explain they have a lot more than just one beer (CHETTY!).
Yuengling Lager was my first legal beer as well at the Pour House with my Mom, haha.

Actually, when my one friend lived in San Francisco for a short period of time we not only sent him a case of quarts, but we also got him four pizzas from a local pizza shop, haha.

Aye. It's true. Cans are more useful for bush parties, and underage drinking though.
Lord Chesterfield is the only Yuengling that I think I like better in a can for some reason.

i'll pass on the lager, but their black & tan from the tap is fucking delish.
