What is it with all these kids in bridgend, Wales committing suicide, anther kid died today, Number 17, WTF.

a lack of understanding in today's youth. suicide is darkly cool, always alluring ingredients at that age.
I don't even think its related to thier emotional well being. its merely a computer game decision based on the desire to be the ultimate adolescent.

thats like the rash of school (college) shootings in america lately... every few months it seems theres a story of someone, some kid walking into a building and shooting people and then killing themselves...
they want attention so bad they dont care how they get it. they know they will be immortalized. such an ignorant tragedy. romanticism doesnt need the bad wrap that these shitheads are giving it

i feel kids are pretty much on their own nowadays - parents have little or no time and schools are a melting-pot of politically correct mediatic junk. No "spirit" is being given these kids today. At least that's what I see here and have heard from people of other countries too.

Its the beginning of the end I think. The value of human life is being heavily questioned. People can die and it doesn't really seem to matter because, ultimately, it doesn't matter. Its not going to be an easy thing to stop now its got going, whether that's the US shootings or the UK suicides. Its here and it will become embedded in our psychological landscape.
Its really easy to kill, its really easy to die, its really easy to steal a weak and vulnerable child away and not get caught. Its really easy to step over the rusting barriers of moral perception and do pretty much anything you want to.
We don't believe in anything anymore.

I agree a lot of it is parents. Growing up, 90% of my friends (and mine) had one parent home full time. I don't know of anyone that does that now, even if they can financially afford it.
It's become the sad norm to ship kids off to day care, preschool, etc. I didn't go to school until I was 7.
It seems to me people are getting more and more complacent and that mediocrity reigns supreme. Very sad.

None of it surprises me in the least.
I think it's because we sold them too many copies of Heat / OK / Hello / Now magazines. I swear in my last job about 90% of the young staff had no conversation in them except the crap they saw on the TV last night or the crap they read in these shit-wraps. I honestly think none of them had had an independent thought in years. Nothing would fucking sway them from the overriding importance of what Jorden said to Pete. I used to joke they might as well end it now - if that was the sum of their existence, they might as well not bother. Somewhat ironically that recently came back to bite me.
Everything is shit, and not everyone has a pop-scoop.

a lot of people make kids without knowing why... or because society asks you to do so. They just sit them in front a the tv set or the xbox and avoid any real communication.
I tell my daughter I love her every single morning and I make her fell she is important to us. That is what those kids miss.
I remember I wanted to commit suicide when I was young... I think i know what I am talking about. ;c)
It is really sad what happends to this society. Hope changes will come.
