im riding a Giant Rainier right now, pretty modded...but looking around for a new ride...any suggestions? My range is up to 1200.

lots of dirt-jump/urban hardtails on the market now so just make sure you're buying something that is still suitable for trail riding.
myself i'd go for a more aggresive/freeride hardtail rather than a trail XC specific.
