The intro reminds me a bit of Group 94, and the site reminds me alot of WDDG's new folio...

It does seem to cross the two sites into one but I like it much more than last years hyperisland site.
I'm not really sure the styles really mix that well though, they're both nicely done on the site with neat visuals on the video but it actually isn't doing it for me.

I am not feeling their full-screen background concept. I agree that Group94 already attempted to pull that off last year. Other then that looks pretty intriguing.

do you mean group94?
i still like the iad08 update a lot. the rough quality meets the style perfectly, the contrast to the clean overlayed navigation has a kick and the cartoon intros are yummies. i think the fullscreen video site is an achievment that should be allowed to be reinterpreted even if it has been done before. btw: http://www.qbn.com/topics/541520…
