what if you photoshop a corpse sitting in one of the chairs. you know, 'give it some life'. then tell them you're just kidding and reveal the real photo.

Actually, I feel like saying that their products take the life out of places it's put on, but they pay well.

looks like a cloudy day. Try adding some warmth to the lighting. I'd add some flowers or something with a splash of color.
Chairs suck. Look at Room and Board or B & B Italia for good photos.

Lifeless, for sure. Or at least boring.

Good luck :)

My immediate thought, which is of no help, is that it's the pattern of the tiles that gives it a very dull feel. I don't think the green covers complement that shade of flooring very well. Perhaps a brighter blue cover might bump it up a bit.
Or some people having a party.

maybe you should put togethera type treatment useing the floor pattern that spells out "lifeless"

that tile IS ugly like a mofo. they should talk to their tile designers before coming to me.

needs some light spilling across floor? or does that obscure the product?

How about a little tap dancing mouse? Or would that detract from the statuesque quality of the chairs?

no, I think it needs more wicker furniture.

maybe a fat guy outside in the background grilling with his shirt off?
