I would never let Facebook / social networking "collide" (as Jerome stated above) with my awesome life outside of work. That relationship wouldn't work out. Plus, as RoyBoy said, your boss is going to wonder about what you are doing at work.

The more your boss knows about you, the easier you'll be manipulated (not necessarily in a negative way) at some point later or addressed in a manner you will not like under certain circumstances.
