I'd go for Textpattern as well. It's so easy to design to.

I'd choose TP over EE just because it's free and it's a really well thought out CMS. I used it on a whim for a project 2 years ago and now it's grown into a huge project. Never let me down through all that growth (and it's super expandable with a little knowledge of PHP).

Worth a purchase as well if you decide to go with TP:

I'd go with TP over EE...but you can go either way...

We use <a href="http://sprawsm.com/blog/why-we-like-textpattern">Textpattern</a> in our company, it is very extensible and we really recommend it to anyone looking for a CMS. I personally found it really hard getting my head aroud it's semantic model, but it was my first attempt to use a real CMS ever - so it is kind of obvious.

Im going to be integrating a custom design into the CMS I choose. How is EE for custom CSS template integration?
Any reason you would choose Textpattern over EE?
I need something larger then sNews which I really like.
Thanks!

I've used EE and do like it. But I prefer sNews for smaller sites and Textpattern for others.
I've played around with Silverstripe and really wanted to like it but I just can't wrap my head around how the backend works...

Its too bad they charge for EE when the others are free.
I dont really see the benefit of paying for a CMS.

Expression Engine is pretty easy to get going and makes it easy to use custom fields. I am not too fond of the backend design, but it is def usable.

Anyone have experience with with either Expression Engine or Silverstripe?
