When I was on assignment to GM Design in the US I had to ask them to stop using so many TLA's (Three Letter Acronyms) in meetings I was in cos I just had no idea what they were talking about...
them: "The VLA needs PPD approval for the GMT 240 PDR, OK?"
me: "uh..huh?"
