How many of you have credit/debit cards that require you to enter your PIN when shopping online?
Have any of you been offered this "3D secure" by your bank?
Sorry for my boring posts these days too...

Hmmm, not something I've experienced. Sounds a bit dodgy to me.
I'd call your bank and ask them.

Oh no it's not dodgy.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3-D…I'm just trying to find some information regarding people's take-up of the idea.

yeah - done something like it. Had to register my B/Card with a password.
Gets in the way of purchasing. Not encoutered the PIN number yet. Is this the Chip and Pin number? Not sure about entering this online. Wouldn't feel too secure.

The only time was when I ordered some videos from Holland.

I know what you are talking about with Verified by Visa, however, I have never registered my card.

I wouldn't do it.

only asking because I'm building a PHP payment module and don't fully understand the payment flow.
There's very little info out there.
