  Is there such a feature as figure and table numbering?

  I need to create automatically numbered lists that, ideally, link to tables or pictures with the same number.

  I want those "numbers" maintained should I add more item to the list.

  Possible?

  sounds like something that might be possible with a 3rd party plugin... but i don't think its possible just in InD

  I found this;

  But "Bullets and Numbering" doesn't seem to appear in my CS3 :/
