2) how is it inkeeping with the ethos of a greener planet when you jetting celebs back and forward to attend these gigs

I watched the Wimbledon finals instead (yay Venus!) and it was far more exciting.

haha! i'm kinda taken back that there isn't more support by this crowd.Don't get me wrong - it's a mad farce. How much gas did they use to ship these artists all over the earth? How much money did it cost to set up all these events and how much energy will it hog?...
... seems like a step backward to the cause... I mean... we 'know' about the Planet's issues by now... right? This isn't to generate money... but awareness...
... I don't think we could be more aware given the political value of 'the environment' right now and the media time Global Warming gets.
This is a waste... although I did 'give it a shot' by flipping on Bravo then over to IFC... both had Country Music going at the time... BAH!
