"the only way to not be idle is either you are the story or you wrote it."

i enjoy the education and would rather read a book than watch most movies as i feel i am participating rather than idle.
but let's talk more about you.

(Jul 2 07, 17:06)I had a feeling you'd prefer this.
To me, I actually feel that I am participating either way, but it also depends on how much of my imagination I use. To be honest, I do use my imagination more when reading books because (particularly as a visual learner), I need to picture everything in my head.
The perception is definitely that you are more active when reading books, but it's harder to determine if this is actually the case.
Like fans of Harry Potter, for example. Some loved the films for making things come to life; others hated the films because they felt uncomfortable or even violated from the changed perceptions and ideas of the entire HP universe resulting from the release of the films; these worlds originally molded by the reader.

this is what ratatouille realy is:
Ratatouille is a southern French dish made from eggplant, zucchini, onions, peppers, tomatoes, and garlic.

if you are 'idle' while reading a book or watching a movie, you aren't doing it right!

i thought it was a really great movie. the quality of the animation really struck me when he came out of the sewer and was pulling off pieces of bread. the detail in the food was unbelievable
