If you can function just fine using a particular version of a product, an upgrade is not needed.
CS3 has its advantages, but nothing in my eyes that would justify getting it right away, or whenever it came out.

I still have the CS3 sealed box sitting on my desk. I get by just fine. Didnt this kid say he was a student? That would explain why he doesnt understand that using new software when under deadline isnt always the best option.
