i wondered how good you were at flash, how hard to add a color variable to the movie clips too?
it's all hacked together i couldn't get the code to all work on one frame so i have 1 swf pulling in the 5 pieces. any advice links to sorting a color option possibly on an Alt+click?

the easiest hack would be to have each element in it's own mc (which you will do already) and along that mc's timeline have the shape duplicated and in different colours. then on alt click, advance a frame at a time along that timeline.
or you could build an array of colour values and apply them with code on alt click.

Also, I wouldn't tell her you think her brother is cute and if she's willing to experiment, at least wait until the second date.
