nice comparison on how responsive operating systems are, but nothing on basic software tasks like resizing an image, burning a CD, ripping from a CD, rendering video or 3D. That's where the real difference would take place.

would you rather have a stripped down, snappy OS or something with bells and whistles. I always have liked shit like you see in 2001: a space odysee. Minimal interfaces that still have all that eye candy , but for useful reasons... Joost's interface is where its at.
