if you don't mind the astonishingly bright florescent lighting or the cashier sporting dirty dreads, who wreaks of patchouli and is a bit too anxious to greet you, try trader joes.

salads are expensive everywhere, it seems.
*sigh

My lunch is usually made at home, but once in a while I will get something outside. Most of the time it costs around $7 for the meal.
Tomorrow will be the first time I'm eating out in a couple of weeks or so. I don't have a problem with it, but whenever you're low on money making something from home is great.

One of the only places that carries Zingerman's Gelato.

(May 30 07, 12:20)That's funny. I just go to Zingerman's. Right around the corner, if you live right where I do.

the fresh + wild across the street is being co-branded! you gonna be back at the same office in london, skt? i don't think it's far from here.
- ********0
nah, new office. not sure where yet. clerkenwell i think.
- paraselene0
lucky you. working in clerkenwell is the absolute best.
although, i must say, coming to soho has finally forced me to overcome my paralysing fear of central london.
i actually kinda like it.

Wholefoods = Fresh'n'Wild, no?
Used to go into the one in Stoke Newington every day.
Pretty good food, but - ye Gads - the middle classes and their double-width baby chairs and rollers!
I left each day, with mixed feelings of inner, organic- derived, contentment and a seething loathing, bordering on murderous psychosis.
Come the revolution, I know where the first bombs are dropping.

i think they've only merged just now, nairn. the fresh and wilds are all getting new branding.
the one in stokie is quite painless compared to the one in notting hill. jesus, that place makes me want to go home and brew napalm.

central london is alright, just stay the fuck off oxford street.
- ********0
also, i'm right behing you with a sword nairn, getting anything that is still alive.

(May 31 07, 06:42)yes, it is called argyle street. the argyle pub, which weirdly i was discussing here with someone the other day is the best west to east emergency jump off the tube because i need to pee pub that i know of.
- paraselene0
i know what it's called, freaker. good ol' exit eight.
- ********0
ooooh, check you knowing which number exit it is. handy if in an emergency you don't have time for a 2 syllable name.
also, wtf is a freaker?
- paraselene0
i always know the exit numbers. handy if you're giving directions to a freaker who can't be trusted to remember a name.
a freaker is one who freaks. duh.

I like Whole Foods a lot, but it is always so packed I never really know what is going on when I get in there.
All the G-d damn hipsters walking around drinking coffee and buying one apple or something ridiculous.

There are a total of 3 stores in all of Canada, haha.
No wonder I've never heard of them before.
