yeah, it was like $10. seemed resonable to me.

if you go for the preparred foods, your account will go dry.
if you shop off-season, your account will go dry.
if you become addicted to their ability to provide you with fresh, sweet strawberries in feb, your account will go dry.
365 brand is nice.
shop seasonally and you will spend less, for more a higher-yielding product than at other national markets.

funny about the whole foods in UK. that deal took so long to get done. i know the person who brokered that deal. it will be interesting to see how it takes.

I laugh every time I go to the Whole Foods here. They're located in the 'wealthier' parts of the city. So many people are in there for the trend, more so than for a healthier lifestyle/planet. So many Hummers and Ferraris parked outside. (I drive an F150, so I can't really talk too much shit).
"Hey, this ice cream is organic..." *buys 3 gallons instead of a pint

I have a very nice grocery store across the street from me. It has all that organic stuff which I sometimes buy if it isn't outrageously priced.
We have Whole Foods here but I value my money too much to bother. Plus I rarely buy carryout stuff and cook lots.
