if a husband or wife doesn't come home, and without so much as a phone call, infidelity might not be your only problem...or maybe it's a symptom...

(May 9 07, 07:52)Sorry dude, not everyone lives the storybook romance that you do.

I found a little honesty goes a long way over the years.
The whole lie and get stories straight thing was so much fucking work, and so elaborate that at times I would almost completely forget who I told what, haha.
My life was in a constant state of that cheesy movie where the guy is like, 'it was great to catch the game last nite ... I mean watch my friends kid .... I mean get ice cream with my mom ... I mean ... what did I tell you I was doing?'
Now it is just, 'This is what I am doing, sha sha sha. Like it or lump it.'
- Jaline0
of course. there could be an infinite number of reasons as to why that situation is occurring.
But I think I know what gramme is fundamentally trying to say...

i don't want to take anything away from this thread, but theblueone... a buddy of mine did that x10 4 years ago for a vegas trip.
he played me for a whole year to plan a vegas trip for him for the super bowl in january. his wife loved/trusted me so she knew if he went with me he'd be ok. (he was 40 btw).
we land in vegas and i shit you not, this is how it went down.
'doug. you're staying at the mgm in your own room. i'm at ny ny. i'll see you on monday. meet back at the airport.'
i didn't see him or hang out with him for 4 days. the whole trip was supposed to be a guys thing to watch the game.
when i met him at the airport he had written up an itinerary of things we did, where we ate, how much money we won or lost and who won that game.
i never talked to him again as i couldn't ever look his wife in the eye. it's a good thing they moved soon after we got back and we lost touch.

hHhahhaha WOW!
In a weird lite, that guy is kind of a hero ... to who I do not know, but that is insane, hahah.
- Jaline0
that's so awkward, k0na...
Were you disheartened with having to spend that time alone? Or you probably realized that it was better for you to just not talk to him much (sounds like you never had the chance during the trip anyway)...

(May 9 07, 07:52)yeah, thay might be stalking popular night parking spots to brutally murder teenagers, or smuggling stolen chidren into a life of bondage at the courts of the sultans. or something.
- grunttt0
damn kona that sucks.
gramme, i completely agree.
mrdobs, you wouldn't call or expect a call from your spouse if you/her were going to be out all night?

speaking of infidelity, this is old but never fails to make me smile...

Dear Abby,
I’ve never written to you before, but I really need your advice on what could be a crucial decision. I’ve suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me.
The usual signs... Phone rings but if I answer, the caller hangs up.
My wife has been going out with the girls a lot recently although when I ask their names she always says, “Just some friends from work, you don’t know them.”
I always stay awake to look out for her taxi coming home, but she always walks down the drive. Although I can hear a car driving off, as if she has gotten out of the car round the corner. Why? Maybe she wasn’t in a taxi?
I once picked her cell phone up just to see what time it was and she went berserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her.
Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my wife. I think deep down I just didn’t want to know the truth, but last night she went out again and I decided to really check on her.
I decided I was going to park my Harley Davidson motorcycle next to the garage and then hide behind it so I could get a good view of the whole street when she came home. It was at that moment, crouching behind my Harley, that I noticed that the valve covers on my engine seemed to be leaking a little oil.
Is this something I can fix myself or should I take it back to the dealer?

yeah flavor i guess it was kind of impressive from a planning perspective, cause he literally played me for almost a year to be his scapegoat. he was a juiced up ass.
jaline i felt like a chump but luckily i gotta good friend living out there who i met up with and hung out for the 4 days. he never really even told me all that he did but from what little info i did get strippers and callgirls were involved. it was a good thing we didn't hang out and the only good thing i will say is that he paid for my airfare and hotel.
it was all dumb to me because he could have saved himself a ton of cash and just went out downtown chicago and done the same damn thing, but i guess it was the aura of vegas he was after.
oh. and before we landed he quizzed me on what i just read then took the itinerary from me and tore it up. it was 'evidence' as he put it.

(May 9 07, 08:15)I just don't think that trying to fit one couple's marriage into another person's vision of marriage is fair.
Also, will we have to sit through Gramme telling people about how glorious his marriage is again? The frequency that they have sex again and so on?

haahaha, this is a ridiculous story. It would be hard to be friends with someone after this.
I mean, we all have our friends that we will do things for, but I mean ... to not even be let in on the plan from the start?!
That dude is a jerkbag.
- OSFA0
shame on you kona. You should have done the right thing. Go back home.
AND SCREW HIS WIFE!
- Jaline0
haha, mel, an oldie but a goodie.
*can't believe she just said "oldie but a goodie"
- grunttt0
*backs the fuck out

Well, my friend isn't married..in fact has a shrew of a girlfriend who I can't stand, so I don't mind covering for him...if he was married, that'd be a whole different story...don't think I'd provide covering fire in that case...
