I mean, I've missed him a million times, on TV, on CD, in Concert, in Person. I don't feel worse off for it. But if there's somebody I could sue, and make a few bucks, just tell me how to get started.

The fact that I faxed them per their request the ticket I received from them and they said it was "insufficient proof" for refund is like such a kick in the teeth..I was incredulous...like what exactly would be proof for you then?

Whatever man..I enjoy Henry's spoken word gigs..I've caught him every time he comes to NYC since 1999. And this time was the first time I talked my friends into coming to see him..and this shit happens..

Did you try to get a refund from the venue? Or the promoter? Or Henry himself?
I mean, TicketMaster probably has 964 layers of legal protection against having to refund the promoter's share, or the artist's share, or the venue's share.
Did you ever try to read the back of one of their tickets? Lot of fine print there.

I purchased the ticket online from Ticketmaster. How would I get money back from the Venue? They didn't fuck up - Ticketmaster had the wrong time on their website and on the purchase confirmation I received. I ordered the tickets as a "Will Call" of course when I showed up at the venue for a 10:30 show the Will Call booth had been closed for three hours already....
Anyway, I turned this over to my credit card company already, they've refunded me my purchase and said the ball is in TM court..they have 45 days to dispute with the credit card company. I sent my credit card company the same faxes i sent to Ticketmaster (copies of the purchase receipts that clearly list time as 10:30 on Ticketmaster letterhead) and they can't believe TM wouldn't refund my money. ...they think my issue is 100% defendable.

Yeah..one of the few benefits of using a credit card when they're not ass-raping you with interest rates..you know make use of their muscle with vendors to dispute shit...
