In some ways my pops is right. Had he been entirely correct, I would have more money.
But ya so what, this conversation is about why he's RIGHT.
Men, you should date as many women as possible as often as possible. Forget waiting for the "one", ya you know that unreal manifisation of a female you have raised on a pedastal in your mind. I used to believe in the perfect person, a "soulmate", not so much now. Now I realize that you have to be totally insane to think you can't be perfectly happy with more than one person on this world of 7 BILLION.
I digress.
Why Eric, should I be a player? A player? No not a player. Player's are those disrepectful types with low self-esteem looking to women to make them feel good about themselves. They are not gentlemen, they are trash. More than likely they drive a hoopty and wear fake ice. I'm not hating, I will congratulate one. Its not their ideals they have wrong, its their morals and execution of the game that ruins it for the rest of us.
You my friend, on the other hand are James fucking Bond, mothafuck'n James Dean bitch. You don't chase women, women chase you. You my friend, are a "serial dater."

Moving on...if you wanna know why, here it is. If you ever plan on getting married, which most of you will including myself. You better damn make sure you do an excellent job of choosing someone that you can spend the rest of your life with. Or at least until half of you get divorced. She should be everything you love! But how do you know what you love about a women if you haven't seen all the characteristics a woman is capable of possesing?
This is why you Serial Date.
Every woman you date might not have every manurism you find just absolutely adorable, but hey she might have one. And so as you date these women, keep track of what you like (use the back of your blackbook.) The woman you end up with in the long-term, will have everything on that last page.
Unless you're in a relationship, its OK to date multiple people. Even if you're just dating someone, its OK to date OTHER people AT THE SAME TIME. Ladies, you might not like it but YOU can do this too! I actually recommend it. This way 1)You have a backup if the person you're dating now ends up sucking (not literally.) 2)You have something to do every weekend. 3)It's just plain fun.
***Tip: It's easier to date if you have a job and car. So get one, of each.
How many people do I recommend you date at the same time? As much as you can handle. Make sure you keep a calendar with notes of their number, interests, what you have in common And for Christ's Sake remember their names. I don't recommend calling a chick "Tuesday." It's not polite.
And remember, you're the fuck'n catch! Until she proves herself to YOU, you have no reason to be inclined to be monogomous. Now I do believe once you're in a relationship, that its. This game ends, another one begins. And even still, never give up your balls.

reading some of this thread has given me a skin condition.
I have honestly never found a place so quick to dole out reactionary, potentialy terrible, lop-sided, personal-shit-influe nced advice to anybody with any vague, subjective situation to pour out.

This is simply true and mostly girls are the ones saying they can be friends with ex-s (la-la-la-la) and not have anything sexua. This just a lie (they either lie to themselves or others), and it is such because they feel comfortable as the penetration already happened, and most girls want to make sure they have a reserve and backup plan for sex and cuddiness. They will disagree with this, say it's possible for a girl to be a friend with a guy (lol), but we all know what's up, don't we.
Just remember how many times you banged your ex who just wanted to get a cup of coffee with you an see how you were. Guys and girls can't be friends, it will always inevitably lead to sex.
That takes us back to you again.. She is banging or wants to bang her ex or other people as she's probably not super happy with you in some things. Sure, you are fine for her for marriage, a house etc as you probably work hard as you said and women want security, but on the other hand she wants monkey sex with someone without obligations and strings.
By everything you posted in this thread, you should DUMP this girl and go find someone normal. Not that there's a lot of them (girls) with some values left, but you can still find a few.
