Ooo, I like this.
But since I am scotch/vodka guy, and not a wine guy, what are these? I assume dark bottle = red. Are they cabernets, merlots, pino noir, shirazz?

I need to know becuase i neeeeeeeed to know. I neeeeeeed it like a junkie needs junk.
Actually, cuz I'm curious. My logic is if I can drink a wine that goes well with roasted chicken, let's say it's a shirazz for example...then I can look for other wines of that sort in the future next time. It's like a cheat sheet. :)

Dry Sauvignon Blancs and not-to-sweet Reislings pair very well with roast chicken. additionally, if there is a nice pork product folded into the roast (think pancetta, prosciutto, bacon) a champagne or sparkling wine is great as well. often overlooked, but affordable and a nice change in textures.
