the movie was never supposed to be historicly accurate, it is taken from a comic book.
it just so happens that there was a real time war to match to the book but his tory is real and comics are funny pages.
just be happy all the books we read as kids are being made into great movies.

and i answered comic book time...
jsut read the book. then watch the movie...then if you have time go to the library and read the history...then rent Conan the Destroyer and WWF Wrestle Mania 24 and get your friends n dress up as the Shiek vs Hulk Hogan and make your own movie aand smile.

actually i wasnt referring to your time.. i was just talking about what theblueone said..
he said it was one week in real time also..
i read the comic, saw the movie and studied greek mythlogy and history in school...
regardless, it was entertaining.

i did think the timing of the movie was a bit suspect and convenient. perhaps it'll color many minds continuing the myth all iranians think like those in power in iran.

I think what you need to be asking yourselves is this... will the average Joe and Jane get it where all of this takes place? ie... Iran?
