Could it be that Blair knows what's coming down the pike soon re: Bush bombing Iran and he wants to get the fuck outta there...
I'd put money on it, not alot, but a few week's grocery money for sure...plus with the heir to the Royal throne set to deploy to Iraq within a few weeks, this could be a way from preventing him you know, getting killed, or worse PR-wise, held for ransom...
