Most of them just have changes to the levels, a bit of brightness, contrast and saturation changes.
But, for example, the photo of the woman in the alley, has a large balcony removed from the black area to the left and the whole area darkened to black as you could see some other details on the building.
Also, the shot of the old lady in front of the bar door has also had some elements removed. Namely some fucker standing in the doorway spoiling my shot.
But it's all digital anyway.

shit i wouldn't even think twice about that sort of retouching and saying "that's the way it was"
'cause its not misleading\misrepresenting what was actually there.
nice work btw

Updated. You can now control the photos with the arrow keys. Up / Down to change sets. Left / Right to move through the photos.

i think its pretty slick, but you should make the highlighted photo in the center instead of on the left so that way when i want to go back i can do it faster than 1 photo at a time.

I like it, but the photos could be bigger?

nicely done, and I also like what bolus and moth mentioned about having some more features.

i like it, too.
the only thing i'm not sure about is the way you darken the photos that aren't selected. on one hand, it's nice that there's a focal point and the other photos aren't a distraction, but on the other hand, i have to click on each photo to look at them in their true color/saturation even though the whole image is on the screen. the ability to go through them with the arrow keys helps a lot, though.

Yes, I agree with subversve too. It sort of bothers me that I can't see the real colours of all the photos at the same time. I suppose it's not as big of a deal...

(Feb 23 07, 18:47)I did choose the order (whilst laying them out in photoshop) to sit togethor at full opacity, but they aren't sets at the end of the day and I think the opacity change helps the logical navigation of the site.
It's not realy about the photos given that they are shite, I just wanted to make a simple interface that wasn't raped by fox or universal for once.
but ta for the feedback.
