really nice, but it feels kinda empty when you reach the last photo in a series, might wanna do something about that (maybe returning to the first picture?)
other than that, cool.

cheers moth - working on extra nav options.
and yeah, that photo seems to be the winner so far. is it cheating if it quite heavily re-touched?
- kelpie0

nice photos/site.
Maybe it's my screen calibration but the 'awaiting' photo seems a bit dark to me. At first I didn't realise there was another photo. I thought it was a blank grey frame.
maybe give a bit more of a hint of the next photo.
and like moth said make it so you can jump to the last/first again.out of interest do you have to put all the images in a flash movie or do they load dynamically and shit?
- ********0
At the moment they are all held in seperate swf's split into folders. These are pulled in by the main movie which has an array of data for each set, so it knows how many there are and wether they are landscape or portrait. Which is needed for the positioning. Easy enough to update, import an image into a template FLA and publish with the correct name.
BUT, the aim is to be able to just drop jpg's onto a server and have flash work out the rest.
And you print designers have dark monitors - thats the second one that has mentioned it. I'll lighten them up a bit.

I don't like the borders around the images.
I do like it's simplicity though.the photos are decent. keep shooting.

(Feb 19 07, 07:58)LOL
there is no such thing as objective photography
just looking at something changes its nature

Sickman
(Feb 19 07, 10:10)haha, from a site crit to quantum mechanics in 17 posts.

14 posts even.
- Sickman0
but its true!
who cares how much you PS an image - selection of lens, angle, lighting, ect, ect are just as powerful as going into PS and altering something. unless you are immorally misleading it shouldn't matter

(Feb 19 07, 08:58)Yep, better with smaller borders.

i avoid re-touching my photos - unless it's just simply levels or contrast.
post the original.

there is a difference between an image and a photograph..... you're in the process of photography when you change a lense or film, you're postprocessing when you're behind the computer too much
well, that's my opinion
your pictures aren't over-post-processed
