Just wondering what you think of my portfolio. it's a one pager and i've had it for 3 years now. i'm thinking about changing it to include more screenshots but still keeping it one page. Also i want to know if the work showcased is good enough for AD positions in international web shops or agencies?
Thanks in advance.

tight, tight work man.

looks like some decent stuff man.. not sure about the ad positions ..or if i like the one page over putting your work in to categories

i just found my newest best place to rip work....
;)
looks great man, and yes- you are def. qualified for AD positions.

thanks, one page portfolios are so much easier to update. i can just add a few shots and then i'm done.
Right now i want to know what i can do to improve in terms of my work.

could not agree *more*. only reason i have a one pager is that reason alone.

Wowzaz. Unreal work and I really like the site.
I'd change the wording a bit though.
"We have done branding, website.."
We have done just doesn't sound right.
"We have created branding..."
But that is just me.

thank for pointing that out Kona.
I wonder if my work looks the same? I like the DIY style design and try not to use the same idea but sometimes i feel like all my work look the same.

very nice work.
how many pieces do you have in there? it could be stripped down a bit – you have excellent work, but when you show 25+ pieces, you're bound to have some weaker stuff (relatively speaking), and that volume can water down the whole presentation. just go with your 12-15 top projects.
or do others think more quantity is OK? this is sort of a personal preference of mine, so take it or leave it.

I always feel like website work junks up the overall look of a portfolio--maybe ghettoize the website all in a lower section?
is that a dumb idea?

is it really "we" or is it just "you" ?
potential employers might get the wrong impression...
that said, are you looking for a full time job outside of canada? :)
- madirish0
i agree 100% w/ Gabe. i do not know why some put the "we" when it is just them. there is no need.

I agree with Kona on the wording, the only thing I thought of is that because your work is so good, That YOU were the design agency rather than an individual.
Awesome work!

v.nice work !

awesome work as per usual, piper :)
damn right, "made in Canada", heh.

thanks for the suggestions. i actually have been approached by people thinking i'm an agency. I will probably change the wording from we to I.
I do have a few ops in Canada that I'm excited about but am always open to new opportunities.

yes i think i have too much work in the one page portfolio, i've basically kept all my work from 2004-06. I would like to edit in my next version.

Great work. Really different and fresh. You have a lot of talent Edvin, and I would say yes, definitely ad quality.
Just what a few other people have said, a bit of editing will make it look even better. You want some surprises in your portfolio when you meet people face to face.
Good luck buddy.
