i know its a flash 8 only feature...is there any way to preserve an overlay effect in a flat image? (saved as Flash 7 file - so blending modes cant be used)...

anyone? can it be accomplished in Photoshop with PNGs and then brought into flash - yet still hold the overlay? sorry if i wasnt clear on the first post...
