Game is on Wed. Feb. 7th
Best rivalry match-up this side of the pond. any predictions or thoughts of the teams line-ups.
I say mexico will take it. They have their new coach Hugo Sanchez, Mexicos greatest futbol player and an accomplished coach. he even beat real madrid in madrid with pumas a couple years back.
+ as for the line-up mexico has a strong side and has called up their europe based players.
US- is doing good, coming off a win over denmark, they to will call up their europe based players.
tight match 1-0 mexico.

usa is playing catch up with the best sport in the world. with a huge latin/spanish population and a ton of money to succeed in a super lucrative sport and industry, having already some of the best players in the world play on their turf, hosted the world cup...america should not only care but pay beckums even more

note: the US has a very good record against mexico at HOME.
Personally I think the US isn't in that bad of shape they just had a bad world cup, thats all it happens to every one, 2002 France went in to the WC as defending champs and came in dead last, only to bounce back in 2006.
I the US's biggest problem is the fans, some americans hate soccer so much that they wont even support their team! their own country men! what is that!?
Im sorry but I support my teams no matter how good or bad they are, for me its a little weird because im mexican-american so I have the privilege to support 2 countries, thats why I love this match up!
anyway soccer is the worlds game for a reason, quit being a bitch and give it a chance hahaha

Blame advertisers or something, the football / fútbol thing makes soccer insignificant somehow. The presentation of soccer to football in america is no comparison. it's a full scale production for football. like i said, time/channel?
