mr_snuggles, i am set on nailing so many things right before christman, mostly this goddamn logo though...
need haev new siet up in 2OO7

must admit that the new leading, more open makes the stem of the b stand out better!

Needs more space between the v-o-r and between u-r in order to have a good horizontal flow.

rand is quite right though, most well consrtucted logos are tweaked slightly and made available in a specific size per context..

arrgg... does everyone agree? :(
the concept was to have it tight and dynamic.. if i space it up more the idea of titeness is getting lost...

oh is that what rand meant?
different versions for small and large?
hmm.. i am afraid that will be a little too much to be living up to when i need to have things done fast..

really well done crouwel!

i say if you space out the "mb" like that, track everything else out a bit except "rm".
BTW, the word you're looking for is tracking (the whole word) or kerning (individual letter pairs). Leading would be the vertical spaces between lines of type.
:)

let the computer decide

anyways, i will look at your suggestions later.

i miss 2005-2006 :(
i try to talk my clients out of italicized text for their logo, i liked the old one better
- ********0
sure! ;)
well, i needed some dynamics.
don't want to look too traditional anymore. it's still a business after all, which needs clients = money!
- version30
agreed, and in all seriousness, i always liked the swash on the b
