Call up her work and talk to her boss, ask if she can get like two days off "paid" ... but really just pay the boss for it? Then on her time off you can get her a spa treatment.

it's the same here. people are just going along into a crunching machine. one should fight it, i'm not sure how, but one should.

i second the spa thing - even if it is just a manicure or facial -
something she would never spend money on. she'll feel like a princess.also, spending time with her was a good suggestion.
Get tickets for something "she" is into and take her for dinner.moms are the best!
