Right here. But, I guess it's just me so technically I can be whatever the hell I want.
I'm thinking of changing my title to "Executive Director". I just kinda like the way it sounds.

as a creative director can you please tell me how your role differs from a senior designers, art director.what i'm trying to work out, what exactly does a creative director do?
- M0NEYCIDE0

this guy should be a senior designer tops. can't communicte and can't plan or lead at all.he got the position cause he's close to the boss.

long time ago people started to farm and build houses - then came a guy from nowhere who called himself 'chief' and started ordering people around and telling them how they should build their houses and do their farming. it came to the point where he tought he owned them and start using them for his own petty warfare with the other cluster of houses and farms. In reality, he wanted the other farms too. he wanted it all. To this day, no one knows why he wanted the whole thing.
but so countries and Art Directors were born.

Ahhh, so thats where they all originated from Witt.

A Creative Director is usually someone who works closely with or is equal to the other Directors in a (usually quite large) business. I would say it stretches to anyone at a senior level within a decent size company whose sole responsibilty is the look after creative maters internally and externally... I think... it's not usually very hands on

whose sole responsibilty is the look after creative maters internally and externally...
.it must be extremely tiresome.

I'm one...
'look after creative matters, internally and externally'
pretty much covers it..:)

my creative director sit at his desk and does nothing until a job comes along that he wants - then he hoards it so no one else can have any input.
no direction at all.

A Creative Dir. SHOULD supervise the creative dept. Be responsible for all projects, hire and develop staff, guide and mentor, present work to clients, develop new business, inspire and make company aware of new ideas and current trends, foster an inspiring environment that works effieciently and openly.
Can I be one some day?
