Hey all...in Photoshop CS2, when u command click an item on the screen it only selects the folder that its in...In previous versions, a commad click would select the exact layer that its on. Any way to do this in CS2?

nono, that brings up a little menu (im on a mac)...Im talking about clicking an item in the actual document window, not the layers window...I want to click on the main screen, and select the layer that the item is on (not the folder that its in) make sense?

look above at the tool bar, uncheck the box that say select groups or something like that

you must be using the [move tool "V"]
[control + click]
another tool such as the brush tool will pull into that tool's dialog box preferences.
