cheers, madirish. thanks for backing up my idea. seriously appreciated. i have another, simpler functionally, layout in my mind, maintaining the 3 column layout.
i am going to color the logo red, and probably redesign those letters, thinner, more elegant. i already have some sketches for this custom font. only for the logo probably.
even though i'd love to create a typeface, but damn, it's going to be weeks, if not months of terror! :O

awesome dude. the refined typeface sounds very interesting and a nice touch. i do though, enjoy the typesetting you have going here. chunky is the new black. ; )
the red in the mark could be pretty sweet- that seems to be coming back around again (blac, red, white) from the late 90's. just saw a great display of it on the the http://www.turnstylestudio.com/ site under Teague work- beautiful.
and man, building typefaces is at *least* months of anguish. : ) it is a huge pain tin the ass, but so awesome once it is worked out. maybe Typographica wants to collab on it? ; )

Last weekend i did some exhaustive research on type, and it got me seriously tired.
made some sketches and diagrams of favorite typefaces, character specifics and the likes.
i guess i need some serious discipline working that out!

I realize this thread is about something else, but I just want to know why people sleep with Paris when they cheat on their wives. Couldn't you choose someone nice or better looking? (like YOU, Chad Michael Murray). It's weird, imo.
