Windex.
*** STOP!!!
joking. ok thats not funny. glass cleaners will destroy the finish.
i use a very soft lint-free cloth, damp, with just a teeny weeny drop of dish soap rinsed out so it hardly suds.

alcohol (90%+ Isopropyl) and a soft cotton cloth

i haven't cleaned my screen for a few month. i usually just lick it clean.

Iso Alchohol diluted to 50% or less. Or buy the alchohol wipes at the store.
Soft cloth good idea.

Monster brand screen cleaner. I use it on my LCD monitor and my Plasma TV and never had a problem. It's expensive, but lasts forever and comes with a safe, microfibre cloth to use. Get it at BestBuy etc.

^ I use iClean as well but use a microfiber towel.
http://www.pakshak.com/ultra-plu…alcohol is bad, even just wiping down the outside parts with it is bad.

use this definetly.. got it from the appleshop.

iKlear is way more over-priced than even the Monster stuff... it's the same thing. The only advantage to the iKlear is you get the little travel wipes.

I've always used alcohol on my screens since this one job I had taught that it evaporates almost immediately...
... and if you use it 'correctly'... it's the best cleaner out there... specifically for it's ability to cut through greasy fingerprints etc... then evaporate to nothing.
... if you iMac says NO AlC... well... duh... :)

I use monster cleaner + LINT-FREE cloth on all my LCDS. Including my old Dell and my MacBook Pro.
