That cop was certainly wrong.
And the girl should've controlled herself, but it's not uncommon to see people act that way. She got the amount she deserved, but the cop should've been fired or at least had some further action put against him in his workplace.
I don't have much against cops...the ones over here are pretty good at what they do.

I once badly sprained my ankle and i was limping badly home and i saw a cop sitting on his car eating shit...I asked him for a ride to my place which was 2 blocks away...he said " I am not a taxi."..." I told him , your supposed to SERVE and protect asshole" I limped home in pain...in the rain no less. true story i swear to god. Fuck the police.

there's plenty of good cops, who do a neccessary job.
that said, the position attracts people looking for a power trip. and bored cops in a boring town are the f'ing worst. options for their day are either a) sit in the car and do nothing or b) harrass people about stupid things.

In New Zealand all the cops care about is generating revenue for the goverment through speeding tickets. You wouldnt believe the levels they go to.....
