Go to the top of the rockafellar building and take it all in. That's what i did when i was there and it was amazing.

you should rent a bike for a day. i think that'll help you a lot. i think you can get it for like $25. walking and subway is kinda waste of time. just make sure you won't get hit by crazy cab drivers.
