my (in less than 2 weeks) wife and i will be flying down to dallas, then out to hawaii on 9/10/2006. she's scared shitless as it's a day before the anniversary of 9/11.
i'm scared shitless of what i can and can't take on what is to be a 10 hour flight. laptop? ipod? water? seriously, if i can't take that shit what the hell am i supposed to do on a plane for 10 hours? having sexors in the bathroom with my wife will take up about 2 minutes. then what!?! I ASK YOU!?!
and theblueone, i was thinking the other day, airports and planes are on lockdown right now and i was thinking how easy it would be for someone to sneak some shit on a crowded metra train downtown during rush hour. or into a ballpark during a game. why waste so much fucking time with planes?

You know, my whole thing, if I was a terrorist, would be this: Remember that DC sniper dude who had people terrified? I mean you get like two dozen guys with some training in afghanistan or Iraq with sniper rifles and let em loose in the US..widespread freaking havoc would ensue. I mean you start randomly popping people on the highway system, you shut the country down. .I mean, my buds and sit around and think about "if I was a terrorist I would..." It seems so freaking easy..the fact that these guys are so amped about doing big spectacular things like explode 12 airliners at once really makes me wonder what their real game is...cause it ain't "terrorizing us", at least not really in any efficient way...

good words blue one. or, if you are going to invent a way to destroy a commuter plane, make it less conspicuous than say, lighting your shoes on fire, or dipping your electronic devices into your pudding snacks. you'd think it'd be so easy. but on the other hand, if they can figure out how to put bombs in shoes and pudding, can't they figure out that nobody really gives a shit and that they are more "sick and tired of the antics" than "terrorized"
